SiteScan Optimization FAQ

How often do I get the automatic SiteScan reports?
Automatic SiteScan reports are delivered monthly, weekly or daily, depending on your subscription level.

Can I get extra runs of the SiteScan reports?
Yes, you can get extra reports at any time at no extra charge.

Can I compress images stored on my hard drive?
No, OptiView Lite does not include this feature.

Can I select when the automatic SiteScan reports run?
Normally reports are started between midnight and 6:00 AM Eastern time.  However, you can select which days of the week and hours of the day you would prefer to start reports using the account management page.

Can I turn off the automatic reports?
Yes, to turn off automatic reports, go to the account management page and uncheck all days of the week.

What if my email address changes?
You can change your email address at any time using the account management page.

Can I send a copy of the reports to a co-worker?
Yes, you can designate a "copy to" email address the account management page.

Do I need to resubscribe at the end of the year?
If you subscribe with a credit card, your subscription continues until you end your subscription on the account management page.  Your card is charged each year for resubscribing.

After I subscribe can I change which credit card you bill?
You can change your credit card information at any time using the account management page.

Can I end my I subscription at any time?
Yes, you can end your subscription at any time using the account management page.

Can I use my subscription on my home and work computers?
As long as you are the person using your subscription, you can use it from any computer.

What browsers does SiteScan work with?
Netscape Navigator version 2 and higher; Microsoft Internet Explorer version 3 and higher and AOL.

Do I download OptiView or is it an online application?
No download or configuration is required to use the OptiView service. OptiView is an online application you use through your web browser.

How do I configure my Web browser to best work with OptiView SiteScan?
